Later Tuesday, around 6 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a house on Berwick Drive in reference to a burglary.
Police say there was a black Ruger pistol sitting in plain view and when they told Stouard his charges he called an officer racial slurs and made physical threats to the officer and his family. Stouard also said he was not prescribed the pills, according to officers. Officers say they detained Stouard as they continued investigating, and when he became more responsive Stouard was asked if he needed an ambulance and he said he was okay and parked at Market Street because he took two Xanax and wanted to sleep them off. On Tuesday, officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department said they found Stacy Payton Stouard, 19, in his car around 5 a.m., and when they made contact he was unresponsive and looked to be intoxicated.
